Seneca Post Tensioning of Minnesota, Inc. and Bert G. Nelson, President, have retired as of November 30, 2003, after 32 years of service to Minnesota and the Upper Midwest.  Seneca was the oldest supplier of post tensioning materials in the country . . . approximately 400 projects.  In recent years, their specialty was the repair of P/T tendons and developing “encapsulated” splicing couplers for the replacement of corrosive unbonded tendons.  Western Waterproofing Co., Inc., has acquired all stressing equipment and inventory necessary for the repair and total replacement of post tensioning tendons.  Bert Nelson will continue working as a consultant with Western for cable repairs.  Inquiries regarding the restoration of post tensioning tendons will be taken by Mike Mercier of Western Waterproofing Co.
